Our beautiful facility on the third floor of the Zaentz Media Center features three suites. Studio 1 functions as the hub for our renowned audio postproduction services. It's outfitted with a Pro Tools HD2 system (with state-of-the-art audio restoration and reverb plug-ins), a Digidesign C/24 control surface, a Dolby LM100 Broadcast Loudness Meter, a Meyer Sound 5.1 surround monitoring system and a 42" plasma display. This suite is ideal for any type of audio mixing and prep. The recently added Studio 2 has dramatically expanded the bandwidth of Berkeley Sound Artists. This studio features a Pro Tools HD2 system, a Genelec near field 5.1 surround monitoring system and a 42" plasma display. It is the home of our video game and music composition divisions, but is also suitable for a variety of mixing and editing needs. The more intimate Studio 3 features a Pro Tools LE editing system, with DV ToolKit and Meyers Sound HD1 monitors. This is a wonderful suite for basic sound editing. Each room has access to BSA's massive sound effects library, which includes numerous original recordings and sound design elements. Studios 1 and 2 also include Final Cut Studio, MIDI interfaces and a small selection of MIDI instruments. All three studios are available for rental on an hourly, daily or weekly basis, to audio professionals. Rates are variable, depending on the hours, room selection and your staffing needs. Speaking of needs, successful rental situations are not just about the rooms. TheyÕre also about people. Our capable staff is available to offer you as much or as little assistance as you require to successfully complete your project. BSA offers a relaxed working environment, with dedicated client areas, comfortable chairs and views.
